Madeleine Fia Matsson was born in Stockholm, Sweden, and is currently based in Brooklyn, NY. She received her MFA in painting from the New York Studio School of Drawing, Painting, and Sculpture, and her BFA in Studio Arts from Concordia University, Montreal, Canada. Matsson co-runs Tiny Dancer Gallery in Gowanus, Brooklyn showcasing local, underrepresented, emerging artists.
